Alicen has been on the Veronica Mars seasons, because my sister Robyn said she really liked it. Alicen has been watching it pretty consistanly and really liking the idea of a high school girl solving problems in and out of high school. I cant believe how many high named actors/actresses are on it. whether seasoned or just starting roles. Our kids know to leave the room when Alicen starts Veronica Mars, they know its time to go play in their rooms and make sure its sometimes quite. Its a pretty entertaining show to watch, too bad it only lasted 3 season before getting cancelled for some unknown reason.
My new television show has been Spartacus. Most likely not too known because it can only be found on HBO or Stars. Most average folk do not get that package on the network. I only heard of it from my brother who watched some of it. I always have liked historic hero's or historic figures. This show is full of everything a historical fiction show should have. Of course, I have to watch it when the kids are sleeping and usually Alicen is studying or out of the house. Reason being if its on HBO or Stars you know it has at least three things- Gore, Nudity and language. This show has had plenty of gore and a little of the others. I have really liked watching it.
Not sure what series we (Alicen and I) will go to next but the way I see it, it will be school books. Us both in school full time, me working full time, Alicen watching the kids, and both of us giving them attention, church duties and sleep. I dont see much time for anything else. I will just have to see. At least I can enjoy a show for a little longer.
